Travel Insurance Disasters

It's important to understand all of the fine print when getting travel insurance. A story in the Sunday Morning Herald discusses a traveler who canceled her trip to Florida because of the oil spill. It turns out her travel insurance wouldn't cover the costs as the policy only covers natural disasters - not man made disasters which is (unfortunately) what the gulf oil spill is.
